Collection Eyes Uncovered Palettes - Review

Eye-shadow is something that I hoard, I just can't help myself. When I see a new palette, specifically ones on the drugstore I just have to have it. So, when I saw the latest line-up from Collection, I jumped at the opportunity to try them out.

I can't say I had very high expectations for these palettes as, well I have tried a lot of the "dupes" of the naked basics/Naked palettes and well a lot of them are not so great. So needless to say I was a liiittle skeptical at how well these would perform.  However, my skepticism was misplaced as these really are amazing.

The packaging although not 'uber' stylish is very light-weight and yet sturdy. Being black cardboard this does get dirty very quickly, but hey this is a minor defect. I can imagine these will also be great for travelling as they are very lightweight and compact, so easy enough to fit into your makeup bag.

Now I am not saying these are better than the infamous Naked Palettes as well for the £3.99 price tag it would be very difficult to match the very pigmented, buttery and blend-able formulation. But for the price these are very soft and creamy making them very easy to apply and ultra blend-able. Also the payoff is absolutely great.

There are a total of three different color selections in the range ( Nude, Nude grey and Nude bronze). I currently only have Nude but am seriously eyeing up the Nude Bronze. I can't deny myself a little shimmer. Nude is a great everyday palette with a selection of paler tone's which are almost full proof. I love the addition of a darker brown shade which I love to wear as a liner.

These are definitely worth a look. You can get these from Here.

Holy Grail Cleanser: Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish.

I have recently succumbed to the temptation that is the Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser. And yes I know I am a lot late on the bandwagon but hey better late than never right?

This product has become some what a blogger and you-tuber cult product with the likes of Ruth (a model recommends), Zoe (zoella), and the infamous Lisa Eldridge being among it's loyal users. And let me tell you there is not a corner of the beauty internet that does not have the slightest mumble of the word's 'Liz Earle's cleanser' in them, however I have decided to create my own blog as this is one of the cleansers that has really blown me away, which is quite difficult to do if I do say so myself.

For those people like myself that have been living under a rock for the last few years, what can I say it's nice a cozy under there. Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot cloth cleanser is a 2 part facial cleanser, that works to deep cleanse and gently exfoliate all in one step, how great is that. Anything to reduce time in my busy schedule. By using this one product you can get better results than if you used 2 or 3 different products, which is great for anyone who like me is trying to save every pound they can, what can I say it's not been pay day yet. I have been scouring the internet just to find one bad review and there just does not seem to be one.

So what does make this product so special, well to be quite honest the consistency  is quite bog standard as a cream cleanser as it is just that a thick cream. What really makes this special is that it is, and I quote...

And you know what I definitely agree with this claim. Now I am not saying I have the most sensitive skin in the entire world, but well it can be quite temperamental, and with this there is no irritation. What's more I can use this cleanser on my eyes to remove even the most stubborn waterproof mascara (although for makeup removal I probably would recommend a double cleanse).

Yes, there are many hot cloth cleansers out there, and yes a lot of them are a lot more inexpensive. And yes they all claim to do the same thing but well honestly they definitely don't. mark my words " Not all hot cloth cleansers are created equal". There is just something about this one, that has everyone including myself hooked.

For me I only use this once a day at night and use something different in the morning. I find this to take of my makeup incredibly well and I always feel squeaky clean after using it, but vitally without drying out my skin.

This amazing product comes in 4 different sizes; 50ml, 100ml, 150ml and 200ml. You can purchase all of these Here, with the prices ranging from £9-£28.
